About Nicole

Hi! My name is Nicole, and I'm an experienced early childhood caregiver with a strong background in child development and mental health. I hold an associate's degree from Richard Bland College of William & Mary and a bachelor's in Psychology & Family Studies from James Madison University. I previously worked for three years as a Qualified Mental Health Professional for Children and have experience in Montessori and Reggio Emilia school environments around Charlottesville. I'm currently a Primary Caregiver at Our Neighborhood Child Development Center and am looking to transition into a more intimate setting caring for 1-2 children locally. I'm conversational in ASL and love using it with pre-verbal babies to support early communication. I'd love to connect and see if we might be a good fit.
