Hello folks! I'm Nikki and I'm looking for a part-time nanny/childcare position with a family in or close to the Blairstown area, ideally a few days a week during school hours. A little about me! I'm a mom of two and have spent over two decades working with children, including leading Early Head Start and preschool age classrooms and working extensively with children with special needs. That experience has taught me how important it is to really know the child in front of you. I'm comfortable adapting activities, routines, and expectations; supporting sensory and communication needs, and working with strategies a child already uses at home or in school. I also just LIKE being with kids. I'm not going to sit on the couch while your child entertains themselves for five hours. I'm the let's play and be silly and go on adventures kind of caregiver. I'm in Blairstown every weekday for my daughter's school, so I'm hoping to find a family nearby.
