Hello everyone, I've been working with kids since I was a kid! My mom was a teacher and always helped babysit for family and friends. I helped in my church's children's ministry for 8 years, taught horseback riding lessons for 4 years, and then went to the University of Hawaii at Manoa to study education. I worked in my university's children's center and at a local elementary school. When I came home, I nannied for a family for 2 years while studying early childhood education at Miracosta College. During this time, I also volunteered at a school in Bali for a month where I taught English and environmental conservation to 1st graders. I currently nanny for a dream family in Rancho Santa Fe who I've been with for over 2 years. I'm looking for a Tu/Th or Sat/Sun position. I really enjoy helping kids learn through lots of books, outdoor adventures, conversations, and more. I am holistically minded and like to stay active! I hope to help whoever may think I'm a good fit for their family.

Nicole responded to my request for a sitter the same day I requested one. In fact, it was less than three hours before I needed her to start when she firmly accepted my request. She came to my location, and my children warmed up to her quickly playing with Legos. She got them to sleep and also put my 1-year-old back to sleep when he woke up. I think nurturing comes naturally to her because other sitters I have hired weren't able to put my little one back to bed before. Nicole is the best!
