About Nicole

I have a variety of child care experiences. I have worked for a local nanny service (All About Kids), at day care centers, as a private nanny, and volunteered at a child abuse prevention center during college. I have experience caring for children of all ages, but have the most experience with newborns to 4 yr olds. My sister lives in Truckee and was a single mother to my 8-year-old niece (Keira) and I was always a big part of her life. In February of 2020 she was removed from my sister (who has addiction issues) by CPS and placed in foster care. Keira lived with me for 10 months then was returned to my sister's care for a year. Unfortunately she relapsed and I was granted permanent guardianship of Keira in June 2022. So while I'm not a biological mother, I have been a parent to Keira for 3 yrs. I bring a fun energy and love to do outdoor activities and arts and crafts with kids. I've lived in Kings Beach for 19 years and love everything Tahoe. I'm vaccinated for COVID, TDAP, and flu.
