My name is Nikki. I am a mom of two (an almost 3-year-old boy and a 5-month-old girl). I've been an elementary school special education teacher for 10 years. I have over 10 years experience in DIR Floortime (play therapy). Prior to teaching, I worked in a daycare center for several years while going through college. In high school, I spent my summers working at a day camp. I've spent my whole life working with kids. While I absolutely LOVE my job as a teacher, I am considering taking a couple years off while my kids are young. I'm looking for a family that would be comfortable with me bringing my own two kids along. My son is an excellent playmate -- he loves babies and kids of all ages, and my daughter is a very easy going baby.
