I like tutoring because it allows me to do what I love and supplement my income at the same time. I enjoy the opportunity to continue connecting with students outside of school hours. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to work with young learners who need extra support in language arts or math. I started tutoring when I began teaching first grade in over 13 years ago. Today I work with struggling readers as an academic coach. In my spare time, I like to take walks with my dogs, bake, and enjoy life at the shore.
