About Nicole

I'd describe my personality as creative, playful, and outgoing. I like working with kids because they are so energetic and full of life. I want to encourage children to enjoy their surroundings and have as much fun as possible. I started working with kids when I was very young, probably around 10 years old. I lived in a condominium and would teach the younger kids how to swim in our pool. I have always loved kids, even when I was a kid myself! In my spare time, I like to go explore nature, read, cook, and make different kinds of art. I've really been into watercoloring and beadwork lately. One thing you should know about me is I am very playful but firm when I need to be. I have worked with a lot of different children of all ages and personalities. My skills include creative engagement (homework doesn't have to be boring), emotional regulation, and communication. I have a bachelor's degree in communication studies so I take pride in my ability to communicate with all ages.
