*Avail. Sept 21* Hello! I have over 10 years of experience working with youth. This includes nannying ages 5 mo to 7 yrs, one year in AmeriCorps service as a teacher, 3 years as a summer camp counselor, and working as a Summer Camp Director. I am first aid & CPR certified and have experience with ADHD and children on the spectrum. Whether it's reading books, going to the park, or building a blanket fort, I will make it a fun and safe time for your little ones. With babies, I find it helpful to stick to a consistent schedule of nap times, meals, tummy time, play, and plenty of fresh air time. For older littles, I prefer a Montessori style method where they are involved in daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning up toys, and putting away dishes to foster independence and build motor skills. I also have an arsenal of crafts and (washable!) paint supplies to get their creativity flowing. I am also a classically trained singer and have been known to randomly burst into song at any moment!
