I have been a caregiver all of my life! In 2011 when my husband was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer I became his constant caregiver. He passed away in 2014. I gained a lot of first hand knowledge and experiences with him by being his advocate, helping him with his medication, changing his back wound and feeding tube, helping him shower, driving to appointments, and being at his bedside as he passed. That experience alone has made me so passionate about helping others in anyway I can. Everyone deserves to feel like a valued person for as long as he or she is blessed with life. I have since had paid experiences helping seniors with transportation, cleaning, errands, doctors appointments, and more. I would love to continue in this line of work as I support my family.
