Hello! I have over 15 years of paid childcare experience. I am a licensed and certified occupational therapy assistant, with experience in pediatrics and geriatrics. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time going on, "Aunt Nicole Adventures" with all of my adorable nieces and nephews, or finding the next craft to do with them. Have a child with special needs? With a background in occupational therapy, I have a plethora of medical knowledge and experience. I have substantial experience with children with autism and/or ADHD. I am a firm believer in connection before compliance, and I try to always be a neuroaffirming caregiver. I am comfortable with 1-4 children at a time, including multiples. I have received continued education in trauma informed care and am in the process of obtaining my certification in animal assisted therapy. My dog just started therapy dog school as well! Nicole wanted a long term gig which worked for us. We met her pricing demands and she worked for us about a month. She quit very abruptly 15 min before she was supposed to arrive for her shift with no explanation. Really lucky we have back up help because I work full time. We have cameras in the house that were put in from a previous owner and my husband occasionally would watch them, he said Nicole was often on her phone.
