For nearly 20 years, I have been helping students unlock their potential and achieve academic success. With a graduate degree in Language and Literature, and as a certified teacher, I am equipped to support students from middle school through college, especially in the areas of reading and writing. I believe it is vital to focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning through personalized support. My methods of teaching include the use of visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. Students engagement is facilitated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential. The most rewarding aspect of teaching is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment. I can tutor online, at the library, a school, or a coffee shop.
