I cleaned houses for 15 years when I lived in Queens before I moved to Idaho summer of 2022. Most people just wanted their bathrooms and kitchens done wipe counters sinks, tubs, toilet (around the base, tank, the seat and lid not just the inside), sweep and mop. Others did want more cleaning like dusting, vacuuming the living and bedroom areas too. The most thorough was special spring cleaning where ovens are scrubbed out and fridges are cleaned. A full cleaning of the fridge meant everything is taken out including the shelves and drawers. Every surface is given at the very least a once over before everything is put back. I've cleaned high chairs, toys, and more.
