About Nicole

We found Nicole on Care.com in 2023 when I was getting ready to return to work from maternity leave. As a first-time mom, the idea of having a stranger in our little safety bubble taking care of our four-month-old son was emotional and overwhelming, but any fears immediately subsided when we met Nicole. She is responsible, communicative, grounded, and compassionate, and has the kind of presence that makes you feel calm and at ease. She's committed to becoming an extension of your own parenting style so there's always consistency of routine and approach, and is a great sounding board when you're trying to figure out how to navigate the various transitions of babyhood. I liked that Nicole was flexible working around me when I would WFH, but also comfortable holding down the fort whenever my husband and I were both out of the house. Nicole worked for us on a nearly full-time basis until our son went to daycare at 18 months, and then was graciously on call whenever we needed adhoc childcare. We're bummed that Nicole won't be in San Diego as we prepare to welcome our second child, but we're excited for the lucky family who gets to have her on their team in the future!
