My name is Nickolai and my heart for the vulnerable comes from my experience in education. I have worked in schools in various capacities for the last 9 years, including work with at-risk students, k-12th. I am a licensed teacher and have worked at Pilot Point Middle school for 3 years. In the middle of my career, our son was born three months prematurely. He spent the next five months in the NICU undergoing extensive medical treatment, and he came home to us with some special needs. This is where my heart for caring for those with medical needs comes from. This journey is a joyful, hard, complicated blessing, and I would love to care for those in a similar place or just lend a helping hand! My experience: -Childcare/Babysitting -Tutoring in all subjects K-10th grade, emphasis on art & language/English -Caring for medically-needy children (esp. G-tube/ feeding issues) -Caring for the elderly in a limited capacity (transportation/ errands, cooking/cleaning, conversation)
