About Nicki

Empowering students to reach their full potential is the cornerstone of my 20 -year career as a certified teacher. I hold a masters degree in education, with a specialty in math. I've also coached soccer in the Twin Cities for 25 years, ranging in ages from 4-year-olds to semi professional teams. My approach focuses on building confidence and a genuine love for learning rather than rote memorization. I adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions to suit your unique needs. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating small wins, I keep students engaged and motivated. I prioritize open communication with families to build a collaborative, supportive environment. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a community center, I am dedicated to helping you master any subject. I truly cherish those "aha!" moments when a student finally masters a challenging concept.
