About Nichole

I have about two years of childcare experience thus far. I was previously employed as an Infant Teacher at one of the childcare centers on campus at UW, and now work in a hospital laboratory. We followed the RIE philosophy, which basis is on respect and allowing children to make decisions and learn at their own pace. Most of my experience there was with infants (3 months-18 months), but I have subbed in the toddler rooms (18 months-3 years). I have a lot of knowledge about safety, health, and nutrition for infants. I am currently available on a part time basis, mainly in the afternoon/ evenings and weekends. I do have a portable background check through my employer, as well as another background check I had to do for college. While I am comfortable with pets, I am allergic to dogs.
