I like caring for seniors because I think that seniors are unwisely dismissed by many younger people, and I appreciate their life experience and different perspectives on life. I'm looking for a job that allows me to meet interesting people and to contribute positively to other people's lives, and is close to home so I can spend time with my family. I have done senior care for family members over the last two years. I have helped with mobility issues, assistance at doctor visits, planning and logistics, organizing and keeping a medication schedule, transportation, mild cognitive impairment, and communicating with family and friends. I am interested in people's life stories and memories, and looking at photos and old movies. In my spare time, I like to visit with my children and my wife, play with our dog, practice photography and videography, watch movies, cook, visit with friends, and learn languages.

Nicholas is one of the most attentive, compassionate, trustworthy helpers I have ever had. I have found him to be reliable and kind and extremely helpful. He is always cheerful, and has a great “How can I help?” attitude. Nicholas helped me getting around the house, getting in and out of the car, and grocery shopping. He took me to several medical appointments, where he kept track of the questions I had for the doctor and made notes to help me remember the details. He also made me some wonderful meals when I was too tired to cook! He is a good cook and made meals to freeze so that I could easily heat things up. This one’s a gem!
