About Nicholas

To start, I've always been very close with my grandparents because I was their first grandchild. To this day, I talk regularly with the ones I still have. I genuinely like older people. I find their stories interesting and enjoy imagining what society was like "back in the day". Since October of 2023, I've worked with 2 clients, both with dementia. Most recently I worked with an 89-year-old man. He was so funny even when he wasn't trying to be. We had a great time together. He had good mobility despite his declining mind. I was a live-in aide and would do most of the things he could not do himself such as cooking, cleaning, driving (grocery shopping, doctors appointments, etc.), bathing and so on. I take my job very seriously. So much so that I train in strength based exercises so that I am better able to lift a client in circumstances that require it. I am an excellent communicator and highly flexible/adaptable. I can handle whatever is asked of me. Contact for more info!
