About Nia

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary through high school students in Math, English, History, and Test Preparation, I focus on building critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I adapt my methods by observing how you interact with new material, utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions to ensure concepts click. When subjects feel challenging, I break problems into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to keep momentum high. I prioritize open communication with both you and your parents to build a collaborative, trusting environment. Seeing your confidence grow as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I am happy to meet at your home, the library, or online to help you reach your goals, and I truly look forward to being a part of your academic journey.
