About Nia

Id describe myself as fun, gentle, and caring. I enjoy meaningful connections with children, creating a safe, nurturing environment. I love working with kids because I get to be a small part of who they become. My experience with children started in 2014, I spent 2 years interning in a special needs preschool. I worked at a center, then took time away from center-based care to be a SAHM. During those 3 years, I provided care for 3 families, which allowed me to gain valuable experience in a more personal, in-home environment. Once my daughter became more independent, I returned to childcare working at BFA. Since 2023, I have been working there as an infant and young toddler teacher, continuing to build my experience with early development and daily routines. In spare time, I love time with my daughter, reading, and being outdoors. One thing to know about me is that I value inclusivity and respect for all families, kindness, acceptance, and creating a positive environment for everyone.
