About Nia

Hi! My name is Nia, Not Your Normal Nanny! I bring energy, originality, and a refined approach that goes beyond traditional nanny care, but at my core, I genuinely love what I do. With 8 years of experience working with children ages 4 to 13, I have served as a youth counselor in after school and summer camp programs, a substitute teacher for grades K to 5, a Class Dojo ELA and Math tutor, and a long term substitute teacher for a 2nd grade class. I hold a Master's in TV and Film Production from SCAD, and I use that creative background to connect with kids through crafts, storytelling, outdoor play, and making everyday moments feel fun and intentional. Safety is always my top priority, along with being a positive and dependable role model that families can trust.
