About Nia

Hi! My name is Nia, and I'm a warm, responsible, and energetic caregiver with a true passion for working with children. I have several years of experience, including my time as a preschool teacher at a daycare, where I cared for children from infants to preschool age. This role gave me hands-on experience in early childhood development, creating fun and educational activities, and supporting children through their daily routines in a safe, nurturing environment I love engaging kids through age-appropriate play, arts and crafts, story time, and outdoor activities. I'm also comfortable with diaper changes, nap schedules, light housekeeping, and meal prep. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, I have a clean background, and can provide great references. I know American Sign Language (ASL) and enjoy incorporating it into daily interactions to support communication and early learning. I truly value building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents!
