My experience as a nanny has taught me patience, flexibility, and how to adapt to each child's needs. I worked with my first family for two years in 2020. They had four children, but I mainly cared for the baby and their3-year-old son, who we suspected might have autism or severe OCD, although he had not been formally diagnosed as the therapist wanted to wait a little longer to figure out what it was and I had moved by then. Caring for children at different developmental stages helped me understand how important consistency, communication, and individualized attention are.
