About Nettie

I'm a career nanny with 9 years of professional experience caring for children from infancy through school age. I'm currently seeking my next long-term family as the youngest child in my current family's care begins daycare this fall. I believe the most meaningful learning happens through connection, curiosity, and play. My approach is play-based, Montessori inspired, and nature-based, creating an environment where children feel emotionally safe, confident, and excited to learn. I thoughtfully plan activities/experiences tailored to each child's unique interests and developmental stage. From obstacle courses and outdoor adventures to sensory rich invitations, imaginative play, baking, and STEM/STEAM activities. Capable of light housework and transportation. I'm CPR certified and have experience supporting children with speech and developmental delays. My goal is to nurture confident, kind, independent children while building lasting relationships with the families.
