About Nerissa

With 26 years of experience in K-5 education and literacy support, I bring a wealth of knowledge that can make a difference in students' foundational skills. My skills in reading interventions and ELL are especially valuable in helping students who need additional support. Tutoring provides an opportunity to create a tailored learning experience, which hi-lights each student's unique strengths and challenges. Watching a student develop confidence in their abilities is incredibly rewarding. I can offer them guidance, encouragement, and strategies that empower them to succeed in school and beyond.
