About Nerissa

As a nurturing and experienced childcare provider with two decades of experience, I'm passionate about nurturing the growth and development of children. I have an Undergraduate degree in Child and Adolescent Studies, and a Doctoral Degree in Counseling Education and Supervision. I am a licensed Counselor, running a private practice full time, providing mental health services and consultation to mental health agencies. With my busy schedule and three (3) children, I know how tough it is to find trustworthy quality care so, I decided to also join on the Caregiver side to support families like mine. I'm recognized for my patience, creativity, and friendly nature. I value communication with parents, providing regular updates and following their preferred communication methods. I give the care that I would want my babies to have. In addition to my experience and formal education, I have also been an official substitute for my mother's licensed child care business for the last 20 years.
