We started working with Nelle since I was about 30 weeks pregnant. Initially we were looking for a newborn care specialist, but we then learned that Nelle is also a doula. As first-time parents, we had very little knowledge and experience in pretty much anything related to birth or babies. Nelle was knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate throughout the whole process, which provided us with much needed relief and confidence. She gave us a comprehensive education on labor and delivery, helped us develop a birth plan, and attended the birth. After our baby girl was born, Nelle took care of her overnight for 5 days per week for the first 4 months and provided me with postpartum support. We received above and beyond support in lactation, sleep training, and newborn care in general. She helped us become better parents than we would've been. It has been a huge blessing to have Nelle with us on this incredible and exhilarating journey. We would hire her over and over again!
