Caring for children is my PASSION!
I have an AA Degree in General Studies & I have units in Early Childhood Education.
I have over 20 years of experience working with children.
I had an ROP class in Child Development in high school (senior year). I would volunteer in 2 different classrooms.
I worked as an Instructional Aide in a Child Development Center for almost 2 years.
I was an Early Childhood Teacher for 12 year(Toddlers & Infants)
I've also worked with several lovely families here on CARE (since 2015)
I'm very compassionate, sweet, affectionate, kind, nurturing, cheerful, PATIENT, hard working, organized, flexible, dedicated, responsible and professional!
I don't see myself doing anything else than what I truly love.
I love making an impact in children's lives!!
I have great references!
Thank you for your time! :)

Nelda is patient and understanding. I had the privilege of watching my two children grow under her supervision while she was a teacher at our daycare facility. The qualities that stood out most about Nelda were her calmness and care for ALL the children in the classroom. I was impressed that she was able to remained focused while attending to her students equally! I definitely do not have the skills nor patience to work as a teacher, but thankfully we have teachers like Miss Nelda!!

If I could have hired more than one nanny, I would have! Nelda is sweet, bubbly and kind. My then 5-month-old melted into her lap without hesitation. Her references all spoke highly of her. I have told other friends who will be looking for nannies that I would be happy to pass her info along to them. I wouldn't hesitate to have her help us or friends in the future.

Ever since I've known miss Nelda, she's been very passionate about children and child care. She puts children first and their well being, she's not only a great teacher but a great nanny as well. Anyone who's lucky enough to have their kids under her care is very lucky

Nelda has a great passion in working with kids. She is very compassionate, nurturing and will always keep a good eye on your kids. She has tons of experience working with kids, so not only will they be in good hands they will be learning a lot as well :)

Nelda is absolutely lovely! We had the pleasure of connecting about childcare that I needed and she was nothing short of dependable, reliable, responsible, and kind. I highly recommend Nelda for any child care position!

Nelda has worked for us for 7 months and started when our daughter was 7 months old. In that time I have grown to love her and consider her a good friend as well.

She is always cheerful and incredibly passionate about her work. You can really tell she loves what she does. She is always on time, does everything we ask of her, and is very flexible and understanding. She always informs us right away of anything that might be of concern and also shares pictures or stories of funny things our daughter does throughout the day.

It's unfortunate that we are moving and will not be able to keep Nelda as our daughter's nanny.

Nelda started when our baby was 5 months old. I can only say she was wonderful and we were so lucky to have found her. She has a very warm and friendly personality that is a joy to be around. We also observed that she genuinely loved taking care of our daughter and our daughter also loved her. I was able to watch her interact with our daughter as I got ready for work and if she wasn't getting milk ready, she was always interacting with her, talking to her, or singing to her.

She was always here early in the morning, which was great, because we never had to worry about her arriving late while we rushed off to work. We requested a detailed log of our baby's feedings and naps and she filled them out with extra details about our baby's daily progress, what books she read, when she took her medicines, etc. She also immediately let us know if our baby was sick and took part in helping our daughter heal when her finger was infected with periodic warm compresses during the day. As new parents, we also asked and welcomed her input and experience on different things such as natural treatments for her eczema.

Our family really loved her. We included her in our baby's baptism celebration and we later joined her family and friends to celebrate her birthday. I really can't express how lucky we were to find someone as caring, kind, and nice as Nelda. Unfortunately our circumstances changed and we had to cut our daughters time with her short. She will be the first person we call if we we need a nanny again or if we need a babysitter.

Nelda was my son's first teacher in preschool. Since the first day she received my son with open arms and welcome him to her class. With her love, patience, and experience it didn't take long for my son to feel comfortable and happy to be in her class. She is a great teacher.

I worked with Nelda for twp years. She was a very punctual and great person to work with. She always showed interest in maintaining the children's safety and learning.

Nelda is a very caring and loveable teacher Her main focus is the safety and the education of her children. She is very dedicated to her work and you are able to talk to her; communication is very important to her when it comes to your children. My son loves her very much thank you Nelda for everything.

Nelda has been a friend of mine for years. I have witnessed her interaction with the students she cares for. She provides a loving, nurturing, safe, and educational environment for her students. The rapport between her and the parents of these students she cares for is a positive one. Nelda is very passionate about the quality of service she provides to these children she cares for.
