Neil is truly an angel on earth. I met Neil a few years ago when I brought him on to help take care of my 92-year-old father who didn’t have very much mobility or speech anymore and required a lot of help day-to-day. Neil treated him with dignity and warmth and respect and kindness and endless patience. He truly was such a blessing for my family and for my dad in the last two years of his life, I don’t know how we could possibly have ever managed without him, and I loved him so much that a year ago when my mother started to have extremely declining health and was put on daily insulin and a number of other things, I called Neil and was lucky enough to be able to hire him again. He now takes care of my mom. He is our lead Caretaker. He not only checks for levels and gives her her insulin, but he also sets up her medication for the entire week morning and night so that she always has it. He has helped take her to appointments when I was not available. He has helped in emergencies when I can’t get to her fast enough he goes above and beyond for my mom helping with things outside of the responsibilities of the job just to make Life a little easier on her day-to-day. He even came to visit her as a surprise when she was in the hospital last month after a heart attack because he just cares that much and he’s got that big of a heart having him to help with my family as an only child with no other help to take care of my parents has been one of the greatest, most fortunate blessings of my life. I trust him implicitly with the care of my loved ones. I lean on him so much and I am so grateful that he’s become a part of our family.
