About Neida

Hi! I'm a patient, dedicated tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from CSUN. I previously worked as an Instructional Aide in the Simi Valley Unified School District alongside a Resource Specialist Teacher, teaching all subjects and supporting students with diverse learning needs, including special education. I also have experience as a Child Development Specialist, over six years in educational program management, and eight years of nannying. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish and can help with homework, reading, writing, math, and study skills. What I love most about tutoring is seeing a student's excitement when they finally understand something they've struggled with! I'm passionate about building confidence, encouraging perseverance, and teaching resilience. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, solving puzzles, building LEGO sets, trying new coffee shops, and cuddling with my pups!
