20 years of experience caring for children, handicapped individuals, and elderly. Owned my own daycare for 8+ years. Soon to be 45-year-old mom with 2 kids in college, and pursuing a college degree myself. Quality, respectful caregiving is my passion. I'm passionate about kids being raised in a manner that equips them with tools to help themselves in the future. I'm looking for a job that allows me the flexibility to finish my schooling. My own kids are 20 & 18, but I watched kids even before I was a mother. Then when they were entering school I decided to open my own daycare to provide quality care to other moms like me. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, color, paint, go camping, and nap. I believe kids should have chores as soon as they're able to complete them. It gives them a great sense of accomplishment to help clear their place and push in their chair after dinner, or to race the clock & get a better time each night when picking up their toys.
