About Nathan

Hello, my name is Nathan . I have been a counselor at Camp Phoenix in North Smithfield RI for the past 3 years, I have just been promoted to lead counselor for the upcoming summer! Prior to that I did 2 years as a counselor in training at the same camp. I've worked at AlphaBEST Education for the past year as a Group Leader, here I would work before and after school with elementary students. I would have to assist with homework, lead group activities like crafts and athletics, and supervise all the students. Through these years I have worked with children ranging from ages 4-16. At Camp Phoenix I would run and lead a variety of different activities, primarily athletics, but I would also help in arts and crafts, engineering, and archery. I prioritize building strong relationships with each child, their safety, and making sure every child has fun! I'm currently at CCRI on an education pathway and plan to go to RIC to get my bachelor's in Physical Education.
