About Nate

I like working with kids because they teach me so much! As an educator, I make intentional efforts to keep myself open to new ideas and perspectives. The sincerity of children reminds me that there's always a box to think outside of. I started working with kids the summer of 2025. I was a counselor at an incredible summer camp called Green River Preserve. After working there for two consecutive summers, I am looking to offer services in childcare outside of a camp setting. In my spare time I read, write, explore, and exercise. One thing you should know about me is I take every opportunity to learn new things! I especially love stories, and to learn vicariously through others. There is a pearl of wisdom in every experience, and it's my joy to hear it. My skills include: 1. I am exceptional at building rapport with young people. 2. I can redirect like it's nobody's business. Awkward question from a kiddo? Gone with the wind. 3. I am a lifeguard! CPR and first aid certified.
