About Nate

Hello! My name is Nate and I am a recent college graduate with 2 years of paid childcare experience, primarily in educational settings. I love creating a safe and fun environment, and am CPR/First Aid certified. Besides growing up with two younger siblings, I currently work in special education in the Redmond area, and have two years of experience in working with kids with special needs, including both high support need developmental disabilities and emotional/behavioral disturbance. This background has given me strong skills in patience, adaptability, individualized care, and an emphasis on helping each child grow as they are. I am most comfortable working with children kindergarten age or above, and particularly enjoy working with older elementary/middle school age kids. I am comfortable with light meal prep, homework help, and open to help you with other needs! I am also available for tutoring in the humanities, Spanish, and elementary/middle school math.
