About Nate

Hi there! I'm a grad student studying social work at Hunter College, and have spent the last year working in a high school in Brooklyn as part of my studies. I'm looking to work with local Brooklyn families to provide them with childcare. I attended Wesleyan University and am originally from the Boston area. I'd describe my personality as grounding, humorous and personable. I like working with kids because I really enjoy working with people of all ages. I'm looking for a job that provides me with part time work to supplement my studies as I complete my MSW and pursue becoming a therapist. I started working with kids when I began my graduate degree. In my spare time, I like to cook, enjoy the fresh air, spend time with friends, dance and read! One thing you should know about me is that I bring my life experience and social work background to my work with children and families. My skills include cooking, socio-emotional learning and structure building.
