I have 5 years of experience working in hospice as a Board-Certified Music Therapist, and almost 2 years as an in-home caregiver. I can provide Companionship, Respite, and daily tasks such as Dressing, Meal Preparation, Errands, Cleaning, and prompting pre-prescribed P. T. exercises. Bathing and assisting with transfers depends on the physical demands required. I have experience with Dementia care, and am skilled at positive redirection and compassionate understanding. I would not be billing for or providing music therapy services, but could incorporate occasional singing if that is helpful to decrease confusion during tasks or transferring. I enjoy organizing things/spaces, and am happy to assist with pet care if discussed. I am CPR / First Aid certified. I am very detail-oriented and will be extremely attentive to your loved one and their needs.

We hired Natasha to care for my father who had dementia. It was difficult to trust a total stranger coming into our home, but Natasha proved to be very trustworthy and honest. She kept him entertained with puzzles, games, talked with him about his past and even learned how to play the accordion so she could re-teach him a childhood past time. What started off as companion care became more personal care as his dementia progressed. She was always kind & gentle. So fortunate to have found her!
