About Nataly

I used to work as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for my grandmother, who had dementia. Caring for her was both a deeply personal and profoundly meaningful experience. My responsibilities included assisting her with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, while ensuring her safety and comfort in familiar surroundings. I also managed her medications, monitored her health, and provided emotional support during moments of confusion or anxiety. Through this role, I developed patience, compassion, and a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by individuals living with dementia and their families. Being her caregiver taught me the value of empathy, clear communication, and adaptability, skills I carry with me in every aspect of my life today.
