I have experience working with dementia/Alzheimer's, G-tube, and developmental disability patients. I work as a at home caregiver with some patients as well. The skills I acquire are picking up signs and symptoms a patient might be experiencing, picking up non verbal cues, helping with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, and feeding. I have the ability and knowledge of knowing the correct baselines for vital signs and monitoring them as well.
