I'm a recently retired speech-language pathologist with many years of experience working with children and young adults with special needs. My professional experience has been primarily in the public schools working with students with a variety of special needs including autism spectrum, ADHD, Deaf and hard-of-hearing, gifted, mobility issues, cognitive and developmental delays, and speech-language delays. I have also raised a special needs child of my own and am proud auntie of nieces/nephews with ASD and cerebral palsy. I have experience using visual supports, positive behavioral supports, communication systems (including high-tech devices), and I'm fairly fluent in sign language. I am not looking for a full-time position or for a lot of hours currently, but I would love to help support your family on an occasional or as needed basis. Warm regards, Natalie
