About Natalie

Hi there! I'm currently a senior at Columbia University; however, I've worked full-time as a nanny for the past two-years. My overall childcare experience extends further than that, with almost 10 years of babysitting experience under my belt. My philosophy involves helping children to assert their independence by empowering them to make decisions, or joining me in meal preparation, etc. I think all children deserve to have their feelings heard and validated by a patient and compassionate adult. Overall, I want to craft a safe, trusting environment for the children I work with, so that I may function as a source of calm when they feel big feelings. I am comfortable arranging at-home activities such as science experiments, or doing light house-work during periods of down-time. I'm CPR certified. Moreover, I've worked with children who have special-needs and I've also supervised hundreds of hours of ABA therapy. I've worked with new-borns, toddlers, and children aged 12.
