About Natalie

Hi! I'm currently a sophomore studying psychology, and I'm originally from Virginia Beach. I've helped families all over my neighborhood, as well as worked childrens day camps! One of my favorite things about working with kids is getting to know their individual personalities. I'm very empathetic and patient, and I've always felt like I do well at understanding what kids are thinking or feeling, even when they have a hard time expressing it themselves. I'm also very hands-on and love actually engaging with the kids I'm watching rather than just supervising. Whether that means playing together outside, doing crafts or puzzles, helping with homework, playing video games, or coming up with something fun to do, I'm always happy to be there! My goal is for kids to feel safe and comfortable with me while also having someone they consider a true friend!
