About Natalie

Available midsummer I encourage the exploration of emotions in a safe and supportive way for each of the children I have the privilege of caring for. I also take pride in supporting the parent's through any struggles and celebrate the many successes they have on their parenting journey. I love creating an environment of learning while actively playing and developing crafts based on the interests of the children. I believe that if I begin teaching a child about subjects they already have an interest in, then that will set them up for a lifetime love of learning. I'm an avid reader and hope to inspire the same passion for literature in the children I care for. I utilize children's books, music, baby sign and conversation about our activities to develop language skills. Schedules are important to me with the expectation of wiggle room and an understanding that letting children be exactly where they are can be more helpful than rushing into the next activity. I choose to be child centered.
