Learning isn't one-size-fits-all, and I'm passionate about helping students thrive! For the past 3 years, I've provided personalized support to elementary and middle school students, fostering a love for learning along the way. I believe in building confidence and empowering students to develop critical thinking skills. I assess individual learning styles through active listening and observation, adapting my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and more. By connecting challenging topics to real-world examples, I keep students motivated and engaged. Communication is key, and I provide regular updates to parents to reinforce learning at home. I am experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). Witnessing those "aha!" moments is the most rewarding part of tutoring.
