About Natalia

Hi! My name is Natalia, I'm 23 and originally from Colombia. I graduated last year with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Inclusive Education. I'm currently in Fresno working as a caregiver/supportive roommate to a girl with cerebral palsy. Since she's at her day program until after 3 PM, I'm free in the mornings and early afternoons! I discovered my passion for working with people with disabilities when I moved to college. Since 2021 I've gained lots of experience with physical and intellectual disabilities and caregiving (feeding, hygiene, lifting, non-verbal support, etc.). This has helped me build great skills to work with kids of all abilities. I love helping them grow and become more independent. I'm caring, loving, and always aim to build trust so they feel safe. In my free time, I love music, podcasts, movies, eating out, and shopping! I recently got my driver's license but still rely on Ubers. If transportation is needed during the day, it must be provided.
