Since I was a child learning has been something fun and important to me. I attended Stonewall Jackson High school and was in the IB program. I've done volunteer work with elementary and middle school children. During this volunteer work I helped the children work on homework, explained concepts, as well as providing other unique ways to solve problems. My favorite subjects are math and science, and I am currently enrolled at Nova on course to get a degree in biology. I've worked at a Day care and enjoy watching the kids learn and problem solve. I also have spent a lot of time working with special needs children both at school and within my family. In high school I played both basketball and volleyball at the varsity level. Also, in high school I studied cosmetology and I am a licensed cosmetologist. Although I am not yet CPR and First Aid certified, I plan on attending an in-person course as soon as possible.
