She made the house sparkle, she could perform basic nursing tasks if needed, and she prepared delicious home-cooked meals to carry me until the next day and beyond that were compliant with my regimented diet. When needed, she took me to appointments and to go food shopping when I wished. Otherwise, she could take care of food shopping or other errands without me.
