Applicant and I communicated over the website and then a call. We scheduled to meet on a Monday to do a (paid) test drive of what her duties would look like. I assumed we were good to go, but then I texted her on the Saturday (2 days prior to meeting) and am glad I did. She responded that she would not be able to take the position and "Sorry for not reaching out earlier". So if I hadn't texted, I wouldn't have known. She really left me in a pinch. Not cool. Not professional and not reliable.
