About Nara

As a childcare provider with a decade of experience, my passion lies in nurturing children's growth and development. I believe every child is unique, and I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive. My patience, creativity, and adaptability allow me to connect with children of all ages. I maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates and promptly addressing any concerns. I am also comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a harmonious environment, and I do so in a calm, consistent way to build a relationship of mutual respect. From outdoor adventures to educational games, I enjoy a variety of activities that stimulate children's minds and bodies; I'm even a certified trauma-informed yoga instructor! I received my BA in developmental neuropsychology from Reed College (Portland, OR) and am in school to receive my Masters in pediatric occupational therapy with a passion for making disability support networks more accessible.
