About Naomi

Children and my community have always been my passion. I am a licensed foster parent. From a very young age, I dedicated myself to serving my community whether through community service projects or through child care. I spent two years as a board member for the North Cascades Chapter of American Red Cross and over three years as president of their ARC youth group. I have spent over 15 years caring for children of every age. In addition to running a youth group and being a nanny, I have also taught preschool. I am a mother to a 7-year-old boy. I fully understand the needs of children from both their parents and care providers. I believe children need to be encouraged through adult interactions. We must guide our children through each developmental milestone and provide for their emotional, social and physical developmental needs. I use positive redirection whenever possible.
