About Naomi

My niece, Naomi M., has been our “go to” babysitter for the past 5 years. She has worked not only the occasional weekend evening, but also full time in the summer for 2 years. With our busy work schedules, it has been such a relief having Naomi at the helm of our kids’ care, safety, exercise, entertainment and fun. She is responsible, always on time, and always responsive when we reach out for status updates or changes in plans. She’s flexible and accommodating. At the end of the day, it’s so nice to come home to happy kids who had a fun day, ate a good lunch and the house is tidy. I love that she partners the kid’s fun equally between the two and makes sure they are taking (age appropriate) responsibility for themselves. Both my kids (8-12 year old girl and 4-8 year old boy when Naomi babysat for them), have attention deficit disorder and one is a type 1 diabetic. Naomi manages their impulses and other ADD behaviors with patience and grace, but also ensuring self accountability very appropriately. I hear only great things from my kids about their time with her. While she hasn’t administered injections or done pump site changes for our T1 kiddo, she has had to give juice and sugar for her lows. She is not afraid to ask questions when she needs clarification and works to meet the children where they are for activity selection. I highly recommend Naomi if you are looking for a responsible and reliable babysitter your kids will love.
